Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year 2015!!!

Hello peeps, I'm BACK.......with a new blog post, way overdue. A thousand apologies....I was busy, honest I was. Anyway, enough with the jibber-jabber. Firstly, I would like to wish all of my readers Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!! Everyone has started with their New Year's Resolution already.....I hope.

My Christmas this year has been a busy one, well Christmas every year is busy. For my family and I, Christmas starts as soon as December starts to roll in, baking gingerbread man, icing gingerbread man organizing parties, shopping for presents, you know ordinary Christmasy stuff  (is Christmasy even a real word). It was a hectic schedule, by the time Christmas eve came around, I was actually sick of the smell the of gingerbread men baking in the oven.( insert sad face)
Gingerbread man
We also organized many parties.
Parties!!
Not to forget, we also attended a camp at GTPJ (Glad Tidings Petaling Jaya). It was organized by Youth Alive Malaysia (YAM).It was called Heal the Nation, people from all over Malaysia(There's where I live) attended it. It was held at Petaling Jaya(you already knew that) which is near Kuala Lumpur(Capital of Malaysia) It was a smash, our main speaker was Mr. Mike Pilavachi of Soul Survivor UK. He was an anointed speaker, it wasn't like anything I have ever experienced before. That camp was from the 8th to the 10th of December, so it was 3 days and 3 nights of fun, spiritual receiving and learning to live in a house with boys and a rat!!(It's no fun sharing a house with a rat, and 8 girls in a bedroom? That's a sleepover every night)
Group Picture!!!
Oh yeah, before Heal the Nation, my children pastor and a team off helpers( that includes me) facilitated a camp at Kinta RiverFront. That was actually my third time facilitating a camp this year :)!!(yay!!) The visiting church was MetroTabernacle from Kuala Lumpur. We had a lot of fun and the kids were adorablessss......
Just a simple collage for the feels
Not to mention my cousins wedding,,,, also in Kuala Lumpur.
Group pic taken at the wedding
Finally New Years Eve arrived, we had a countdown at church but before that we had dinner at McDonalds(don't judge, it's tradition). The next day, we went karaoke with the family.

What did you guys get for Christmas? I know what I got as a present. You wanna know?? I bet most of you would be saying in your head "I don't care what you got for Christmas woman!" Well I'm gonna tell you anyway, I got........(drumroll..........) FAT. Yes you read right, I GOT FAT!!!!!

Well Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015!!!!!

You're Worth It........

Hey everyone, I know I have been missing for a while. But I'm back!!!!Anyway, here are my top two favourite songs this month

1. Steal My Girl- One Direction

2. You're Worth It-Cimorelli

Now down to serious business..... this may be totally random to some of you, but sometimes, everyone needs a little booster, a confidence booster. Sometimes, you just feel like breaking down and crying. Sometimes, you just need a hug.Maybe its the stress of exams, maybe its the endless bullying you face at school, or even cyber bullying, Maybe you feel like you are too fat or you're too ugly or you don't look nice in anything. Maybe sometimes you think: "She's right, I'm a nobody"

But I'm here to tell you that no matter what the circumstances, YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!! Regardless of what anybody tells you, you'll always be worth it. It's not about what I think of you, or what your friends think about you or what your siblings think about you, it's what you think about yourself.

Sure there'll always be couple of bumps on the road, but that doesn't matter, it doesn't matter how you fall or where you fall, but what really matters is how you pick yourself up and continue. Also, just remember that you're loved. REMEMBER, there is a God who loves you unconditionally..............

What it Takes to be A Ballerina........

"Ballet". What is the thought that comes into your mind when you hear that word? Let me guess. Pretty ladies prancing about on their toes in tights and tutus???? Well, I'm pretty sure that at least 90% of the people in the think this.....but I'm here to tell you that it isn't that simple.

Mary Helen Bowers, a dancer with New York City Ballet.

To be able to make it as a Ballerina you need........Dedication.
You must be ready to sacrifice your afternoons, your nights out to practice and to attend classes. Being able to balance on the tips of your toes doesn't happen over night.  Neither does nailing that perfect grande jete.
Grande Jete

Ballerinas, especially Professional Ballerinas work very hard, to give off the illusion of grace and poise. Onstage they may look on this, smiling like dancing was the easiest thing on earth.
They make it seem easy
Let me take you behind the scenes, their feet are covered in blisters and  calluses. Bleeding from balancing their whole body weight on the tips of ten toes. They say: "A  picture says a thousand words", so here it is.....
This is one of the less severe ones.
Take a look for yourselves.
Doesn't it look absolutely disgusting???? Some of you may be wondering, " If it hurts so much, why are they still dancing?"
Why??? Because they have a passion for dance....... They are willing to sacrifice their nights out and afternoons off to work their butts off. Stretching their muscles to achieve that oversplit and even sacrificing their feet. I hope after reading this you will not think of Ballerinas as just pretty ladies prancing around on their toes in tutus and tights, but respect them for the strong and graceful women they actually are.......
This my friends, is what it takes to be a Ballerina..........

The Ultimate Guide to being Beautiful...........

Hello peeps, I'm here with my very first blog post: The Ultimate Guide to being Beautiful.

Firstly, I think that beauty comes from within, so it doesn't matter if you're skinny, fat(I prefer the term fun-sized), short or tall....... We can all be BEAUTIFUL. Being beautiful isn't all about looks or being perfect. Sometimes, your imperfections are the things that make you beautiful.

Here are some tips I can share with you on how to be Beautiful..............

1) SMILE!!!!!
It's good to smile! Show off your pearly whites (or not...) whichever one you prefer. Everyone looks better smiling and anyway did you know that it takes less muscles to smile than to frown. There is a saying: Every time you smile, a smile comes back to you......Isn't that nice???? To have a whole bunch of people smiling at each other? You may even brighten up someones day!! Anywhozzle........

2) Show off your Self Esteem
When you are talking to a person, STARE them down!!!! No, I'm just joking, don't do that!!! But look them in the eye when you are speaking to them. Walk with your head held high. Don't cower in fear wherever you go. Let people say: " That girl has got SELF-CONFIDENCE"
Be sure of yourself, but don't be proud. Make sense??? It will as you grow up...

3) Don't cake your face with Makeup
Seriously though, don't bury yourself under heaps of makeup. Go with your natural beauty....... Sure lip balm or concealer is fine.... but try not to use to much makeup, it isn't healthy anyway. Be true to yourself. I can't say much here because I can't even put on lip balm properly. So next...........

4) Dress to Impress
Yup that's right, DRESS TO IMPRESS. Your dressing will make an impact on the person you are talking to. Dress for the occasion......Don't know what that means???? It means wear the proper attire for the proper time and occasion. For example; you won't wear your pyjamas to a party, will you? Or your swimsuit to a wedding. That is what dress for the occasion means. Also, dress to respect. For example, if you are visiting a temple, shorts aren't allowed sooo yeah...... Respect their culture!!! Very Important......

Last but not least,

5) Appreciate Yourself!!!
As I have already mentioned earlier, be true to yourself. Appreciate what God has given you. Beautiful teeth? Long legs?Slender body- frame? Awesome memory???? Appreciate all that and use it to your advantage. For example, got pretty teeth?? My first point was to smile.....so you got to SMILE EVEN MORE!!!! Don't complain that your legs aren't long enough or your eyes aren't big enough...The most important thing is to have a GIANT HEART and a GOOD ATTITUDE.
